Chula Cholula: Tecolutla & Mexico City

Just some pictures that I still have "in stock" from my recent trip to Tecolutla during Semana Santa. Since H. only had very little time, we spent virtually just one day there and then headed back to Mexico City. Not too bad, because during Semana Santa the city is tranquil and silent and still there's a lot to do.

H. finally arrived...

... and we fooled around in a milinery. After our photo session the friendly owner told us that taking picture was actually forbidden. Yet, she had not interrupted us. Very tolerant, indeed.

We made a boat trip on a boat, with beautiful nature...

... ah and beautiful ladies of course.

Also the boat would need some workover.

Not so much the one in which we went.

... and not so beautiful me's - H. commented on this photo, I would look like an older uncle without too much prettiness :-D

But hey - this guy is definitely less handsome ;-)

My first flower-shaped mango in Mexico! After two years (they are ubiquitious)!

Not sure I want hot cakes (pan cakes) at the hot beach...

For some reason, H. found it super funny how I put on my shoes again.

Fresh fish is always a must at the coast. But the again, Mexican cuisine is just not my favourite...

H. introduced me to a hidden and super cosy café in her neighbourhood.

Of course - Mexicans love to put some rubbish on top of something really good. Just not become to healthy...

H. showed me around in a rich neighbourhood in Mexico City, San Ángel. Yet, this part here, which was already a bit outside was more comfortable to walk around, without all this super rich kiddies...
