Off to Tepoztlán

After an exhausting week of examenes y tareas (exams and homework) we have a long weekend, thanks to Independence Day on Monday.

On Saturday and Sunday we visit the Pueblo Mágico Tepoztlán, which is not too far from Mexico City and Cuernavaca.

On Sunday night we want to see the Grito de Dolores (lit. Cry of Dolores) on Puebla's Zócalo (the main plaza). It's a traditional event held on almost all main plazas in Mexico. As Wikipedia knows:

It is the event that marks the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence. The "grito" was the pronunciamiento [sic] of the Mexican War of Independence by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a Roman Catholic priest. (Source: Wikipedia)

Tonight C. and me were still planning a bit - of course not with only a travel guide, but while feasting on the delicacies my favourite restaurant Magnolia offered to us.

This time I didn't forget to take some pictures of the beautifully designed menu...
