Travel Report 2: Day trips to Tequila and Tlaquepaque

It doesn't matter with whom you talk about your travel, as long as it's a younger male person, the first thing he will shout out as soon as you say "Guadalajara" is "Beauuutiful chicas over there!".
This obviously deeply rooted association is really amazing. Well, according to M. the number of beautiful girls was indeed higher than in other parts in Mexico (which, sadly, is not very difficult in my opinion), but for me it was not like "Wow, only Miss Worlds around here". But who cares, we want to two perfect places to correct this: Tequila and Tlaquepaque.

Doing the "Tequila Trail" you will certainly classify every single lady as beautiful as ... erm... a bottle of the best tequila ever... Tlaquepaque doesn't count with a weapon like this, yet it boasts a lot of beautiful artwork (which you can acquire, given you have the necessary wherewithal).

Agave landscapes in Tequila - even a UNESCO World Heritage

We visited the world's largest Tequila factory, and tried a lot of Tequila...

... but actually I liked more the "wood" of the agave, which is used to extract agave syrup (a vegan sweetener)

Tequila at its best - glammed up to fit every tourist's stereotypes
Who cares about Tequila - Tacos are the thing to go with
"The pleasure which isn't provoked by Tequila is a false one."

Tequila is not ONLY about the beverage, but also a fairly nice city

There's lots of different arts, but I especially liked this gallery, so I hope to leave you well with these photos...

And before we go ahead to Zacatecas, I leave you with some more pictures from the city of Guadalajara...
The Cathedral
Musicians
Giant Coca Cola sponsored Christmas tree...

I had the best Salsa Macha ever in the market in Guadalajara. It's ground whole fried chiles, sometimes with peanuts and lots of oil. Tthe vendor couldn't believe how much I put and already predicted great problems with my stomach. Nope.
